As a service to the community, on March 3rd, the YES Plus group, led by Gayathri Uchila, at the Metuchen Art of Living center, made lunch for a local shelter. The Ozanam Family Shelter in Edison, New Jersey is an emergency shelter for homeless families and single women. Volunteers prepared a meal of veggie burgers, soup, salad, apples, cookies and apple crisp. Everyone brought something. We got together at the center, put the meal together and delivered it.
