This little body…

The forest, the leaf and the flower
The jaguar, and the butterfly…
What makes them massive,
And subtle and bright
Not the water, that nourishes
Not the earth holding them tight
Not just the morning sun
shining bright

The air feeds the leaves,
giving the trunk the girth
and the might…
Astoundingly at the bottom
of the foodchain
lies not the rabbit nor the fowl
nor the peas and potatoes…
but the very breath that is life…

More than the fish is made of water
Are we made of air…
Such a wonder of the creation
what appears, is not
and what is appears not…

The breath, the body
and the life
Appear so different
But are so not!
